Accessible Parking
For events in S.B. Ballard Stadium, accessible parking听is available in the Stadium garage. Take Hampton Boulevard to Bolling Avenue and make a left on Bluestone Avenue. The garage will be on your left immediately past the Stadium.
Please Note:
49th听Street between Hampton Boulevard and Bluestone Avenue will be closed on Saturday, May 10th.听Access the 49th听Street Stadium Garage from Bluestone Avenue.听 听
For events in Chartway Arena, accessible parking is available in the 43rd听Street and 45th听Street Constant Center听garages.
Planning Your Arrival
Plan to arrive early to have ample time to get to your ceremony.听听
In the event of inclement weather and Commencement is relocated to Chartway Arena, please use the Chartway Arena 43rd鈥痵treet and 45th鈥疭treet parking garages.听
Traffic Alert
Due to the听CHKD听Run听Walk听Event taking place, the morning of Saturday, May 10th, 听please avoid driving through the Waterside and Freemason Districts of downtown Norfolk.听
Alternate Route: 264 West to E. City Hall Avenue, St. Paul's Boulevard or Ballentine Boulevard exits. Normal routes to campus including Brambleton Avenue to Hampton Blvd and Colley Ave will remain open.
Clear Bag Policy
起点传媒 has implemented a听Clear Bag Policy. Guests can bring one clear bag and one small bag per person. Clear bags approved for entry: A clear tote (12x6x12) or a one gallon, clear plastic storage bag. Small bags (6.5x4.5") and wallets are allowed. Also approved are seat cushions (16x16") without arms or pockets. One cushion per person.
Not approved: Large purses, briefcases, backpacks, drawstring bags, personal seatbacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, coolers, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and luggage of any kind.
